JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



Responsible for performing day-to-day operational tasks to support a large EMC SAN environment

Ability to run large scale projects and migration of EMC arrays

Performs health and trending reports within a large scale SAN infrastructure

Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning with EMC SAN

24x7 Support of EMC Storage Area Network (SAN)

Systems/Applications Management using a variety of Administrative Interfaces

Installation of Operating systems and infrastructure software

Adminsitration and Support of backup infrastructure consisting of IBM Tivoli Storage manager and EMC Avamar



QUALIFICATIONS:



BS Degree in computer Science, or the equivalent in education and/or experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in an EMC SAN environment

Working knowledge of EMC DMX/VMAX, Clariion, Celerra, NS120/NS480, Centera and related software – EMC Control Center, Navisphere, SRDF/Time Finder, Symmetrix Performance Analyzer.

Understanding of EMC DiskExtender, Replistor, EMC Avamar and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.

General knowledge of the hardware and software components for AIX, Solaris and Windows servers

Worked in a heterogeneous environment with multi-platform systems

Excellent communications, organizational, documentation and time management skills, and the ability to manage projects
